I really love Brussel Sprouts….. but not Kake.

I’ve tried it a few times but just don’t like it . 🤮

No way, sprouts the best veg if cooked properly
How do you usually cook them Margaret? I read last night that several chefs have decided that the best way is to fry them. I tend to avoid frying, so I’m going to start stir frying them. At the moment I steam them add lemon juice, which I find helps. I’m not a fan of strong veggies, but I do eat them. But not kale or Swede.

Kale chips are delicious, easy to do in the oven.

The first and last time Kale and I met was about seven years ago my sister-in-law and I decided to try one of the new small eating places in Newcastle and one of the items on their menu was a Kale sandwich. I knew nothing about Kale but decided to try it. A leaf of Kale was literally shoved between two slices of bread and butter, veins and all intact. I took one bite. Never again

Kale, an over rated plant. Won`t call it a vegetable. I remember seeing ornamental kale many years ago. Growing up, never heard of kale as a vegetable. Give me good old silverbeet.

My bestie got me onto baby Brussel sprouts. I get them from woolies and they are so sweet. Steam them with other veggies and put hollandaise sauce from a jar. My husband microwaves them a little then cuts in halve and then shallow fries them in olive oil. So yummy.
