Have you had a celebrity encounter that you still look back on?

A lovely arvo to you lot! How have you been? Good, I hope.

Last weekend was eventful for me: I finally met some of my favourite celebrities at a convention panel!

We only had a couple of minutes to interact, but I managed to tell my favourite artist how much I love him.

Overall, it’s an experience I’ll treasure for the rest of my days.

How about you? Have you had a celebrity encounter that you still look back on? Share them with us here.

I was sent to Sydney for a conference about 10 years ago. I decided to go for a walk at lunch time and stumbled across a group of monks. The one in the centre of the group was none other than the Dalai Lama. He held his hands together in “prayer” mode and held my hands briefly. Not a word was spoken but i can still feel his energy.

I love reading Justin Langer's motivational two page articles, in the West Australian Saturday paper. I was in the Pour House Tavern Dunsborough South Western Western Australian enjoying a pint of Kilkkenny in the beer garden when Justin and his daughter walked in. I said hi Justin, I love reading you articles in the West on Saturday's, have you thought of turning them into a Motivational book? Justin replied, thank you, I have never thought of that? He then walked in the pub to order dinner and a beer, to seat at a table with his daughter. To my surprise Justin walked up to me outside to clink his beer glass, with mine and said cheers for the idea. We talked for a couple of minutes, then Justin excused himself to rejoin his daughter for dinner. Justin ever the gentleman! Aussie! Aussie! Aussie! Oi! Oi! Oi!
