Anubis was the ancient Egyptian god of the afterlife and mummification.

Osiris was the Egyptian god of the underworld and fertility, a symbol of death and resurrection

So that's what google said for the different gods. Even in the answer given by the compiler he does not refer to Osiris as the god of afterlife and mummification but he was associated with the afterlife, death, life, and vegetation.

So is the compiler incorrect?
