General Discussion Thread 07.10.2025

Good morning, friends! I hope your Tuesday’s off to a bright start. Mine definitely is after stumbling upon this hilarious video of a dog ‘helping’ a windmill spin. 😂 You’ve got to admire the effort… even if he’s not quite getting the results he expects! It’s such a perfect reminder that sometimes it’s the trying that counts (and gives everyone a good laugh along the way). You can watch the video below:

How about you? What’s the funniest or most unexpected thing your pet (or someone else’s!) has ever done?

Share your stories below—we could use a few extra laughs today!

Most recent thing is my new frenchie puppy has found chasing his shadow is loads of never ending fun.

Many years ago when we had our Boxer dog she would want to eat whatever we were eating. One time we had marshmallows. It wasn't something she couldn't crunch or chew. It was the funniest thing watching her trying to get it unstuck from her teeth .

We had an Alsatian dog who was the softest hearted dog imaginable. He would lie on the top step of the three outside our back door in the sun. His name was Tyro. We also had a black cat who was very much smaller than Tyro. His name was Sooty. When lying in the back garden they would be together with Tyro draped around Sooty, but when Tyro was lying on the steps and Sooty wanted to come into the house Tyro would refuse to let her and Sooty would hiss and scratch Tyro across the nose.
The same thing would happen if Sooty was lying on the top step and Tyro decided to come into the house, Sooty would not let him pass. With the obvious difference in size between Tyro and Sooty it was funny to watch. You can just imagine it, a very large Alsatian frightened of an average-sized blackcat.
