Being an Englishman and an Aussie too, who first arrived here as a backpacker 1977, I was called a POME Bastard all in good humour! mOiOz I don't know how U got the spelling; Pohm? I have allways been told POME stands for P. Prisoner, O. Of, M. Mother, E. England,

My dads quote I always use now is:
If you never ask the answer will always be NO !! I love this so much it took till I was a full grown adult to truly understand the true meaning of this and I now use it happily.
