An SDC member has graced The Voice Australia's stage!
G'day members!
Member @Dan Daniels the Voice shared one of his amazing feats with us, and we can’t help but share it to you, too.
About two years ago, he auditioned to join the Australian edition of The Voice.
Dan shared his story to us in one of his emails to the SDC.
'I hadn't picked up my guitar and sung for over 15yrs. During COVID, I thought I'm just going to die here alone and nobody will know or even remember me. So I thought I'd try to make some videos that I knew would at least live on after I'm long gone.'
'Within 2 years I was getting noticed then I joined TikTok (which I abandoned a couple of years ago) all of a sudden millions of people from around the world were liking and listened to me, including producers from The Voice.'
'It was difficult but I don't regret it because I went from being invisible to a hundred million people knowing who I was.'
While Dan has been through a lot after joining The Voice, he hopes that he will be able to sing in front of audiences again one day.
