What do you do if you want to relax?

G'day, dear members!

For the past weeks, I've been on a roll with new hobbies, and over the weekend, I started learning how to sew! 😅

I'm having fun so far, but I think it's time for me to slow down and take a break.

So, what do you do if you want to relax or take breaks? Do you read books, watch shows, or do you spend time with loved ones? Share your favourite relaxing pastimes here.

I've always either painted or sketched to relax but atm its watching tv or going for a walk

Go to The South of Perth Yacht Club for a couple of Kilkenny beers, with the best view of the junction of the Swan and Canning Rivers. When the river dolphins go passed fishing their evening meal, the firery red sunsets, the city of Perth lights coming on and the full moon rising in the East and reflecting between the boat pens on the Canning river. No wonder WA is called the Sun set state! With the WA acronym, Wait, Awhile.
Love to all at SDC. Take care and stay safe!
Regards Phil Ox

Since retiring I am now reading much more for pleasure and not for work (I was an English teacher). It's a different kind of reading now and enjoyable. I am also a bit of a film buff, so having time now to watch many films for the first time and revisiting. I also like to walk each day and take time to do so. I find that I am not in a rush anymore and can take time at a different pace. My garden also keeps me busy.

I am a backyard chickener and ducker. I spend time with them a lot, it’s very therapeutic.
