📢 New Competition Alert: Win FREE Movie Tickets

TLOC---890-x-332.jpg

Hey members!

It’s been a little while since I last checked in with you all. I hope you’ve all been keeping well. ☺️

I’m popping in with something a little special. I’m excited to announce a special giveaway just for YOU!

Our beautiful friend, Annette, who works at Ned & Co Marketing and Publicity, has kindly given us 5 double in-season tickets to the upcoming film The Life of Chuck, in cinemas August 14.

Starring Tom Hiddleston, Mark Hamill, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Karen Gillan, and Mia Sara, The Life of Chuck is a beautiful and unconventional tale told in reverse, exploring the life of Charles Krantz in three distinct parts. It explores his journey through moments of happiness, sadness, and awe. It’s a deeply emotional look at memory, mortality, and the small, impactful moments that shape a person's life.

Want to win a double pass?

Just tell us, in 20 words or less:

Who would you take to see The Life of Chuck and why?

We’ll pick 5 lucky members to each win one double in-season ticket, so you and a special someone can enjoy this unique film.

We’ll announce the winners on Sunday, August 10, so make sure to get your entry in before then!

Good luck, members!

I would take my husband, stop him from falling asleep in front of the Television!
Hope he doesn't snore like mine. Last time we went to the movies and it was his choice, half way through I heard snoring and yep it was from the man next to me

I would love to take my daughter. She has been an angel looking after me after I had a fall, broke my wrist and had to have surgery.

I would take my Fiancee Meg, we always love doing things together.

I havd been very sick in and out of hospital. I have no family either. But I am so lucky to have a best friend Maureen she has looked after me. So I would like to give those tickets for her and her husband David. Thank You

I'd take my best friend Moira Davidson to see the Chuck Norris film because she's been a very good carer once and I've talked about the South Hobart boys going the knuckle with the Risdon Vale guys years ago.

I would take my husband, who has been away fishing in the NT for 6 weeks, so it would be a great welcome home and outing together. Thank you!

My wife and I went to see Fantastic Four yesterday. Really enjoyed it. Saw the preview of Life of Chuck , and wouldn't mind seeing it.

I would like to take my wife to this picture. We last tried to attend the movies around the time of the Cyclone which was hovering around the Sunshine Coast. Since then my wife has had health problems with her heart which have been addressed by a visit to hospital. We are both on the Age pension, I am almost 83 and my wife is 75.We have not been to the movies for decades and would really appreciate this opportunity.

What a moving picture it promises to be. My old school friend bestie will gladly join me to share this movie outing. Good luck everyone.

I would take hubby as we are now finally retired, can’t remember the last time we actually went to the movies 🙂

I would take my partner….looking at one’s life in reverse order, if only possible, bring it on!!

Love Tom Hiddleston but I also am a huge fan of the director - Mike Flanagan who has done some superb Steven King adaptations. I'm sure this one will be as brilliant as the rest.

I’d take Stephen King himself—because I have no idea what The Life of Chuck is about, and I’m hoping he can explain it to me : ) finally.

I've got to say my wife don't I? I'd be in big doodoo if I won and didn't take her 😎

I will certainly take my husband to this movie. We have moved from Tasmania to Perth to be close to family but since being in Perth we have not been to the movies here. I hope I am one of the lucky ones so that I can give him a treat which he deserves.

I would love to take my daughter as she has not long come back from WA where she lived for nearly three years and I missed her like crazy. We used to go to the movies during the week together and things have changed. I would like to get that back again.
