You’d rush home, maybe after school or work, flick on the black-and-white telly, and there he was—Maxwell Smart, Agent 86, tripping over his own gadgets and somehow still saving the day. That shoe phone. The Cone of Silence. ‘Missed it by that much.’ Get Smart wasn’t just a show—it was part of the week. You probably laughed with family, or maybe watched it with mates over a cuppa. And of course, Agent 99 was always the one actually holding things together. Those were the days—simple, clever fun that stuck with you long after the credits rolled.
