6th March 1940 When I was a few days old, Dad came home on leave, he saw the state of the place and told Mum to pack and we went to Halifax. A munitions train was bombed. We lived with a lovely couple, Doris and Fred, sadly both gone now. We stayed friends with them. My name on here is Rujam or Rosie.
