Now, questions are swirling not just about the event itself, but what happened in the days that followed.


What was meant to be a spectacular celebration of love turned into a whirlwind of online mockery and speculation.

Ali Abbas and influencer Jasmin Mitwali tied the knot in Sydney on a Saturday, but it wasn’t the vows or the venue that sparked conversation—it was the groom’s grand arrival.

A clip shared by Spinning Booth showed Ali riding down a suburban street on a white horse, raising his palm triumphantly as festive music played in the background.


The street was lined with cheering onlookers, and Jasmin could be seen dancing joyfully on a balcony surrounded by well-wishers.

Almost immediately, social media lit up with reactions, with many comparing the display to the 2015 wedding of former Auburn City Council Deputy Mayor and convicted criminal Salim Mehajer.

‘Bruv get off that poor horse, take your Salim Mehajer attempt. Back to Greenacre n stop embarrassing yourself,’ one person commented.

Salim’s infamous wedding featured helicopters, luxury cars, drummers, a red carpet and a towering cake—elements that left a lasting impression on the public.

Ali and Jasmin’s day also included Lebanese drummers, lavish floral decorations, and an extravagant cake, with videos initially posted by Jasmin to her large following of 580,000.


However, within days, Jasmin had removed all traces of the event from her social media, prompting fans to question whether the newlyweds had already separated.

Another added: ‘I don't get why no one is saying the truth. Is it full show or did they actually get divorced?’

‘Jazzy is back on the market,’ a commenter claimed, while another simply asked: ‘What happened?’


Despite the speculation, some fans were quick to defend the couple, suggesting they were still together but chose to delete the posts due to backlash.

‘She deleted everything because of all the keyboard warriors. Leave her alone you only get married once and y’all can’t let a girl just live,’ someone wrote.
