Jokes aside, an ex-partner was allergic to hair, when it touched the skin on his upper abdomen!
He would get a weird white discolouration on his chest, back and shoulders. It looked a lot like vitiligo (which is permanent), but this would fade away in a few days.
He was told that the cause was an allergy to a specific microbe that lives in his hair.
I couldn't let my hair even touch his chest and he had to wash his hair in a sink, or leaning forward in the shower, because the shampoo temporarily stripped the microbe off the hair!
It turned out that his brother had the same allergy.
