I love dates I eat them everyday with walnuts or almonds with my cup of rolled oats and Greek yoghurt in the morning. And it has helped lower my cholesterol.😊

My husband loves dates but was told by a dietician not to have them as he is diabetic.

While they contain fiber and important micronutrients, dates also have high amounts of sugar.
One to two dates per day can be included in a balanced diet. However, portion control is essential to prevent blood sugar spikes.

Just two dried dates contain 110 calories. This makes them a great option for energy-dense trail mix, but less ideal for losing weight. If you are looking to shed weight for health reasons, try other types of dried fruits that are rich in nutrients, but lower in calories than dried dates

If you are looking at losing weight avoid them altogether
