Just remember to bring a clipboard and a heavy gold pen. Those items are most important, you won't be taken seriously as management material without them.

Not that you would ever use them. That would count as being directly involved with the work, and therefore responsible for any delays or defects.

The clipboard sounds like what an ex - school teacher said she used to do in the school yard. Doing so meant no person would ask her to do anything. (the BUSY SIGN was up). 😀

My dad used to upturn his barrow to have a break. He started doing that when at 85 yo he had 10 ton of chook poo delivered for his veggie patch. He took regular breaks but when he came in for lunch he was decidedly “foul” and it created many a tussle at the table. Dad wasn’t fazed he’d washed his hands 🙌! 😁😁
