This I'm A Celebrity star spills the beans on the most obnoxious A-lister encounter ever!

In the world of glitz and glamour, not all that glitters is gold, and sometimes the stars we admire from afar can turn out to be less than stellar up close. This was precisely the case for one of Australia's beloved media personalities, Dave 'Hughesy' Hughes, who recently let slip the identity of the rudest A-lister he's ever met during his time as a radio and TV host. The revelation came as quite a shock to his fellow campmates on the hit reality show 'I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!'

The juicy gossip unfolded during a segment called 'That's So Camp', a mock talk show designed to entertain the contestants with personal interviews. Max Baledge, the host of the segment, prodded Hughesy for the scoop, asking him to name the rudest celebrity he's encountered in his illustrious career. With a heavy heart and a hint of reluctance, Hughesy dropped the bombshell: 'If we're going to be honest... it hurts me to say it, but it is... it's Ben Stiller!'

The camp was left in disbelief, as many would not expect the comedic actor, known for his roles in 'Zoolander' and 'Meet the Parents,' to be described as a 'pain in the a**.' Hughesy, a fan himself, was clearly disappointed by the experience, which tarnished his view of Stiller. The candid moment even led Hughesy to quip that he might have 'ruined [his] Hollywood career' by outing the A-lister's less-than-pleasant demeanour.

But the episode wasn't all about celebrity gossip. In a poignant turn, Max Baledge shared a deeply personal and harrowing story of survival and self-acceptance. He recounted the terrifying experience of being present at the Manchester Arena during the 2017 terrorist attack alongside his younger sister. The ordeal brought him face-to-face with the fragility of life and the importance of living authentically.

Max's emotional narrative highlighted his charity of choice, Minus18, which provides LGBTQIA+ education in schools. He expressed a heartfelt wish that such resources had been available to him as a young person coming to terms with his sexuality. The charity's work aims to ensure that no child has to wait for a life-threatening event to embrace their true self, as Max did.

The raw vulnerability displayed by Max struck a chord with viewers, many of whom took to social media to express their empathy and support. His story was a powerful reminder of the courage it takes to be oneself in a world that can often be unaccepting and cruel.

'I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!' is more than just a reality show; it's a platform where stars and viewers alike can connect on a human level, sharing laughter, tears, and the occasional celebrity takedown. It airs Sundays at 7 pm, and Monday – Thursday at 7:30 pm on 10 and 10 Play, offering a mix of entertainment and heartfelt moments that resonate with audiences across Australia.

Why does this article read like a blatent ad for "I'm a celebrity, get me out of here"??? Please don't treat your readers as idiots!!!!!

And Ben Stiller replied when asked "Who was the rudest interviewer you have ever encountered?"

He answered "That gap toothed prick called Hughesy or something"

How Hughes got a gig as a comedian is beyond me. He is funny as a case of genital warts!

Had the misfortune of being near Ernie Dingo once when he was in attendance as part of the audience at a St. Patrick's Day Parade in Brisbane. Many many people recognised him and wanted photos and/or autographs and he ended up yelling at them to "Leave me the hell alone, can't you see I'm with my family and don't want to be bothered with all you people". Somebody yelled back at him that if this was the case then he should have worn a disguise because you are a public figure (he was the host of The Great Outdoors at the time) and should expect this kind of attention from fans of your show.
Another encounter was when I took my then 9, 7 & 3yr olds to King George Square in Brisbane for the Welcome Home Celebration for the 1996 Olympics. Kerien Perkins was one of the celebrities in attendance and when my 9 yr old approached him for an autograph, this arrogant prick promptly told my child to get lost as he had better things to do than sign pieces of paper. People that were lined up behind us were gobsmacked with disbelief & disgusted with the way he spoke to a child. He also refused to have any photos taken with any fans.

See this is why we don't watch any of this reality tv bullcrap, and so call celebrities especially overpaid sports people I just cringe at and change the station even on the radio if they start talking about reality whatever I turn it off. I 100% agree with u about Kieren Perkins. I was in a store that had him there having his picture taken with people and signing autographs. He didn't sign 1 autograph that I saw so I didn't bother even asking him. BUT he was sitting at a desk and never even stood up OR SMILED when the picture was taken. He just looked so bored. Why did he even agree to it if he didn't want to interact with the people!
