What’s the thing that draws you to someone?

Rise and shine, beautiful people!

Welcome to February! Ah, times flying, and I (Vella) am honestly not sure I’m ready for it! Why? Because my partner is away for a whole month!
🥹
I already miss her!

It’s funny how the smallest things start to feel so big when someone’s not around eh? Her cooking, her laugh, and the way she makes our space feel like home.

So, I’ve got a question for you—what’s the thing that draws you to someone? I’d love to hear your thoughts—and maybe even your love story. Share them in the comments below.

Sorry Vella I live alone so I am not able to answer your question..
I do have a lovely Daughter who comes to see me on a regular basis and
Often brings me food which I appreciate. Not that I don’t look after myself..
Apart from the Daughter I have 2 Grandsons who call in when they can as they
are busy.. one is a builder & one is in Uni working towards getting. His Masters
Degree.. apart from my Fly I have lovely Carers who take me out shopping etc.So as you can see
I am happy being on my own..

Good morning on this beautiful day , it is forecast for a scorcher as it was yesterday , the answer you are looking for is really unknown to me as being on my own tells me nothing since losing my partner i have tried twice but something was not right so im looking again maybe i will know when and if it happens again my thoughts for today cheers Trevor

Occasionally I love having the house to myself but not for long.
What draws me to someone is their positive personality.
I believe being around a negative person just brings you down.

Isn't it funny when someone we are with all the time goes away we then realise all the things we miss and normally take for granted

The first time I saw my wife was when she came into the office canteen and I instantly fell in love but I was too shy to talk to her. After a week or so of suffering in silence I saw her one evening getting her bike out of the bike shed so I followed her on my bike and when we came to the first hill I pushed her up the hill and this year in August we will have been married for 65 years.

l know you think they are going to be there forever then they are gone and a part of you too.
Then you just live for your family as part of that person is in them.

There you relive the very telling, warm and sensitive feeling, the word granted never enters the mind as there are many telling parts to the onging family that dynasty we allowed to take part in..what a lovely journey we on

The most attractive thing about a man —or anyone— for me is their smile. A genuine slow grin is utterly irresistible in a man. And if he has a great sense of humour ... I'm hooked, line and sinker.

Not my story but interesting.
Luciana Barroso was a young Argentine waitress. She was 20 years old, a single mother, and had been abandoned by the father of her only daughter. In the U.S., she was struggling to make ends meet.
One day, while working behind the counter, a young man asked her if he could "join" her and "hide." He then explained that he was an actor and that there were journalists and people in the restaurant who had recognized him.
He was irritated and a bit overwhelmed by the attention, as he was still quite new to the world of fame. Luciana had no idea who he was but told him:
"You can hide here, but at least you have to be useful!"
So he helped her prepare cocktails, serve customers, and wash and dry dishes.
Luciana and the handsome stranger kept talking. At the end of her shift, she asked for his name.
"Matt Damon," the young man replied.
They have been married for 18 years and have four daughters; he also adopted the eldest.
