I’ve been at the same job for 16 years. The pay wasn’t exciting but lots of responsibility. I thought I’d give it one more year then retire. But had a run in with my supervisor and gave notice! So 2025 for me is kicking off with me looking for another job! So it’s exciting really! And my horoscope ( Virgo) says it’s all about money and career change this year….

I had a lot of highs , firstly when I won my medical negligence claim after 2 years.

Then, a few weeks later, we found out our daughter was pregnant, then a few weeks later we found out another daughter was also pregnant.

Our worst thing of the year was when our daughters water broke at just 26 weeks and 4 days pregnant, she gave birth at just 28 weeks. Everything was going well when 3 weeks ago the baby took a turn for the worst and we were told he probably wouldn't make it. But being the little fighter he is, he is better than ever.
That would be my most happiest thing this year.

As I look back 2024 at least I did not end up in hospital compared to 2023 my wife my daughter have been helping me in every way my carers also help me with my health .but my biggest highlite is my daughter had a great year in year 11 next year coming she will be vice captain for her local high school very proud Dad & mum

My daughter and her husband lost their home with the mortgage crisis many people are facing. It's meant that she and the granddaughters have been living with us since January so she could keep working as a child care educator, her 19 month old could keep attending the same pre school and the 6 year old could keep attending the primary school she loves. Meanwhile Dad is building a kit home on a block of land they managed to buy a couple of hours from here. It's been hard as they don't see each other as much as they would like. My daughter said it's like being a single parent. It's also been a bit of a challenge for us to suddenly have a noisy houseful of people when you were used to being just two fairly quiet older folk!
But the cuddles are definitely worth it and seeing the world through the eyes of young children is amazing.
Hoping 2025 is wonderful year for everyone.

Thankyou Deni l have U block origin you suggested and it works well but l still have this persistent McAfee ad. When l set up this computer a few days ago it showed l had so much free protection with them so perhaps i'm stuck with it.Anyway l have found a way to knock it off and it only comes on every so often so l'm not complaining

This year has had it's ups and it's downs, more downs than ups though.
First the emergency bowel cancer surgery where I received a Stoma, the bane of my existence.
Then I get the all clear after a follow up Colonoscopy, a nightmare in the making, but after a few oncologist appointments with Pet scans and Cat scans i'm now diagnosed with stage 4 bowel cancer.
I feel pretty good though, not like i'm dying or anything, I have an upbeat personality so I believe I COULD beat this and so does my doctor.
Then we had to move house which my partner did all on his own, a feat that most younger men couldn't have handled. That was a very stressful time but we're in the new house now and all is good.
But suffice to say i'll be glad when this is all over with and hopefully 2025 is a better year.

The only protection you really need is called Microsoft Essentials which should be on your computer already if you have Windows and not a Mac.
I would get this, set it up where it sits down in the bottom right corner doing it's thing.
