Waffles perfect Mothers Day Breakfast

Yesterday, I did a big breakfast, including bacon n eggs, pancakes, and these delicious waffles. I know they are not exactly healthy but hey you can spoil yourself sometimes .

I did use a waffles maker, which you can buy from kmart for $10.

Ingredients​

  • 2 cups plain flour
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 3-1/2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 2 large eggs, separated, room temperature
  • 1 1/2 cups whole milk
  • 1 cup butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Fresh fruit and icing sugar or syrup for serving

Directions​

  1. In a bowl, combine flour, sugar and baking powder. In another bowl, lightly beat egg yolks. Add milk, butter and vanilla; mix well. Stir into dry ingredients just until combined. Beat egg whites until stiff peaks form; fold into batter.
  2. Bake in a preheated waffle maker according to manufacturer's directions until golden brown. Serve with fruit and icing sugar or syrup.

I love cooking. I'm going to have a big cooking weekend . Making old recipes plus some new ones.

My son wants to do a culinary course and he wants me to do it with him.

I think if I could rewind time I would have been a chef.

With my recipes everyone can be guaranteed I only post recipes I have made and love.
