This is a dish I sometimes made as a side dish for family BBQ but it's actually a meal in itself..

Ingredients

800g of mushrooms of your choice ( I use button )
1 cup of breadcrumbs
1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
3/4 cup grated cheese ( I usually use motzarella but tasty works too)
1 tablespoon butter.
Pinch of salt
Tablespoon of chopped parsley

Method

1. Preheat oven 180 °C or 160 °C fan-forced. T
rim mushrooms stalks. Wash mushrooms and dry well with paper towel.

2. Cut mushrooms in half. If using large mushrooms then cut into 3 or 4. Add to a small greased baking dish.

3. Sprinkle the grated cheese, cayenne pepper, salt and finally breadcrumbs

4. Place the butter on top.

5. Bake in oven for 20 to 30 minutes.

6.Garnish with finely chopped parsley ( optional)
