Arnott’s reveals shocking product changes: ‘The excitement is real’

Arnott's, the iconic Australian biscuit company, has just announced a major change that's bound to have tongues wagging and taste buds tingling.

Two of its beloved snacks are undergoing a transformation that's not just about taste but inclusivity.

From early April, gluten-free versions of Arnott’s Shapes Original Barbecue and Jatz will hit the shelves, but what's the story behind this change?

The new products are being introduced to cater to the growing number of Australians with Coeliac disease or gluten intolerance.

With the endorsement of Coeliac Australia, these products are a welcome addition for those who've had to avoid these snacks in the past.

Priced at $5.50 each, they will be available at major supermarkets like Coles and Woolworths, as well as independent retailers.

The excitement on social media is palpable.

'This is game-changing!’ one said.

‘JATZ! Huge!’ another added.

A third added, ‘This is the greatest day.’

'The excitement is real,’ another said.

A gluten-free enthusiast, Hannah, shared her excitement over Arnott's latest release.

Arnott’s Crackers and Crispbread Marketing Manager Marco Maiese said, ‘Bringing the delicious taste and quality of Arnott's products to gluten-free consumers is a priority for our business.’

'We are convinced that the Gluten Free Jatz and Gluten Free Barbecue Shapes are the best tasting savoury gluten-free snacks on the market.'

Moreover, Arnott's isn't new to the gluten-free game.

Last year, they launched gluten-free Tim Tams, which were met with enthusiasm from shoppers.

Other gluten-free offerings from Arnott's include Scotch Finger, Mint Slice, TeeVee Snacks, Choc Ripple, Shortbread Cream, and Tiny Teddy.
