My daughter and I collect a lot of their offers and we've been putting it away for her daughter, my granddaughter's glory box so she will have somethings to start off with when she does eventually get her own home.
My best friend passed away in May from cancer. She had months of horrendous pain. She said she had never known pain like it. She was in UK and didn't have the option of assisted dying, if she had I think she would have chosen it.
I have a Royal Albert Sweet Peas tea set in the Friendship range that I was given as an engagement present in 1966. Still sitting in the cabinet only used a couple of times. My daughter has her eye on it for when I'm not here.
