Vertho

Born in Chelmsford, Essex, England and came to Australia as a child. Father wanted to come but not the rest of us, but we settled down ok and grew to like and appreciate this vast Island. Since then I have done a small amount of travelling and seen some wonderful places. We originally lived in Elizabeth (little England)and Dad being the traveller he was, as soon as our schooling was over we moved leaving our eldest sister seeing as she was married. From then on I continued to move around myself.
I worked in retail a major portion of my career. Mostly in clothing and manchester. I loved it, but once I became of an age where I was deemed too old for doing such a job, I turned my hand to my first love. I always wanted to be a nurse so I became an Aged Carer and so worked in Aged Care facilities for approx 15 years. I loved it and now that I am retired I miss it very much.
I love to read and loved writing letters but the maladies of older age have finally caught up with me and I have turned to the computer. Now you cant get me off it. Aint technology grand!! The only exercise I choose to do is walking. I have very poor balance and have a tendancy to fall over so I am limited. Good intelligent conversations are always welcome, but lately I have become a bit of a recluse. I live alone so it is only me and my computer that converse these days. I have a facebook account but rarely use it.
