To all you bone heads blaming the current government, its been the same forever regardless of which party is in govt.

Why do people blame the govt. It’s greed that causes all of this plus online shopping. What can the govt do about it I ask? LNP voters always point the finger at an ALP govt but never say how to fix it. After all it’s been the lnp who have done most of the privatisation in this country. 🤷‍♀️

Where did you get all of this info from? The Fed Govt do not, as far as I’m aware have anything to do with price setting. They are all private companies and as such set their own pricing. In my opinion we would all be better off if all utilities were never privatised.

The world is what happened to our lucky country. Look at what is happening around the world. Australia is not immune from it.

You are just making a political statement without looking at the real story. You know the bit about private companies putting up their prices when and how much they want. The govt don’t control private companies as well you know.

When are you and people like you going to realise that the power companies are private and the government, whoever is in power can do nothing about it except offer some money, which they are doing, to help towards these price increases.
