ALDI's delivery revolution arrives: Your budget groceries now come to your door

I have health issues and have been ordering for delivery via woolworhs. I prefer Aldi for many brands so I tried their door dash delivery and every thing was great. They subsidised one item for a more expensive one and charged me for the cheaper one. I will be using Aldi regularly now and top...

QR code payments hit diners with surprise five percent surcharge

I pay cash at any restaurant now, so as to not be caught by this added tip. One restaurant refused to take cash and I said you eighter take cash or you don't get paid.

$100 grocery challenge that's got Aussie families talking—and it works

I don't think you can have a healthy diet on so much pasta and rice. I notice there was no inclusion of fish and the mince was only 3rd grade. I agree with the other comments of no cleaning products and toilet paper and breakfast cereals. Also there are nourishing school lunches to consider.

Checkout checkpoint shows why new exit gates leave shoppers divided

I think the bigger stores employ people to look like ordinary shoppers to watch out for thieves.

Remember when cash was king? Some experts say it could all vanish in just three years

No I wouldn't like to live without cash. One can't slip a few dollars to the grand kids occasionally. It's hard to split the bill when dinning out with friends. Many shopkeeper turn up their noses when you use your card for a $3 news paper. Can't tip a workman that has done an exceptional job...

Auto-tipping is creeping into Aussie dining—fair reward or sneaky fee?

One wonders if the safe get this money anyway. Their wages should be high enough to cover tips. I do tip, but on the service given. I would refuse to eat there again if i have to haggle over paying a tip.

Wait, what’s this bin for? FOGO rollout leaves some residents guessing

We have had a Fogo bin for over a year. Although there are only two of us we eat lots of veges and our waste food from meals goes in this bin. It gets full very quickly . We find our ordinary waste bin rarely gets full now. We keep our fogo bin next to our kitchen rubbish bin under the sink...

Homegrown for me. If USA beef comes here, I hope it is clearly marked impUSA as i for one, would not be comfortable in buying it.

FAST AND CHEAP: Will this retail addiction in Australia bite back hard soon?

I'm not one that buys 56 new clothing per year. However, I'am often tempted with something pretty that catches my eye. Many women don't like to be seen in the same garment twice especially if you meet the same people regularly. Therefore a cheap throwaway is very tempting. I will try to do...

I would try the drink if I knew what it was.

Fatal Victorian crash that saw 91yo driver hit three pedestrians puts focus on elderly driver rules

Whenever a elderly driver is involved in any accident, the press unfairly always makes a point of publishing their age. Not so much with any other driver that had an accident.

Its the way most people are brought up these days. No manners and no respect for things that aren't there's .
