Price coverup Woolies continue to scam shoppers with putting up prices and then saying ‘30% off’. I wanted to buy some chicory - has been $6 for quite a while. 2 days later there was a yellow tag over the top of the original $6 tag for $7 and 30% off! They hadn’t even bothered to remove the $6 tag!

Laundry powder Vanish is sold in Woolies and Coles for $17+. Go to the Reject Shop and you can buy for $10.75. Only difference on the container is that the smaller writing on the container is in another language. That’s a $7 saving!

Beyond Bank/Greater Bank

I used the Post Office to deposit money a couple of times. On checking my statement I found I was charged for using this service! For depositing!! I found out that it was not the Post Office charging but the bank. Beware members! Check your statements and take it up with your bank.

Having the cashier area in the middle of Kmart has actually done the reverse and created a haven for shoplifters. When the registers were at or near the doors you had a better chance of seeing if someone was knocking stuff off.

Unfortunately, not only have Woolworths taken a favourite chocolate off the shelf but they also no longer stock ‘Shape’ milk! This milk is often recommended by dietitians for Seniors. Anyway, that aside, I would like to wish everyone a very merry Christmas and the best for 2024. A great charity...
