I totally agree. We have money in the bank for us and more in a term deposit which hubby says will probably go to the kids. I told him we should use it as the kids will get our house which atm is over $2 million. But to be honest there's nothing we want and holidays are paid from our every say...

I'm happy with my finances . Most of my kids are doing well, the four at home have good savings ,two have saved enough for deposits for a home. Both are in good jobs and live at home rent free. Three of my married children are paying off their houses, one is doing really good, one is ok but...

I think a lot of those are using credit.
