Strange ALDI food leaves shoppers puzzled, sparks questions across Australia

I have also had this with a loaf of bread purchased from a local bakery, I took it back and it was immediately replaced, no questions asked.

Feeling the pinch? Here's why some might miss out on a potential $932 support increase

Things are definitely very tough for those relying on Centrelink payments. I am on an Aged Pension and have cut back on fruit and veggies and meat, my weekly purchase of fruit consists of 2 bananas and 3 apples, my vegetable purchases have been curtailed and meat? well don't eat meat more than...

Federal Budget 2025-2026: What Seniors Discount Club members need-to know—by Kaye Fallick

For those relying solely on the Age Pension, the increase is a real slap in the face, it doesn't even cover the cost of one takeaway coffee a fortnight let alone the horrendous increases we are all facing at the supermarket check out and rent increases. I wish Mr Albanese would take another...

‘This will help ease some pressure’: New Centrelink change set to impact pensioners

This increase is an absolute insult to aged Australians who've worked their whole lives for this country, paid taxes and served this country in many ways. The increase is not even enough to pay for a takeaway coffee once a fortnight. How is this increase supposed to help with rising costs of...

Check if you're qualified for this 'critical' cash boost from Centrelink!

Wow! Don't spend it all at once! It's not even enough for one cup of coffee a fortnight. Full Pension rate should be brought up to the level of the basic wage and THEN indexation applied, maybe that way those struggling on the Aged Pension would stand a chance of having enough to eat...

Dirty secret hiding in Aussie bathrooms—are you clean enough?

I was astounded and shocked to read this article! I always clean vanity and toilet daily and keep lid down on the toilet of course and clean shower weekly. Your bathroom has more germs in it than any other place in your house and it's imperative to try to stop the spread of any bugs.
