    First Aid Kit

Don't forget there were 2 pain reliever groups. BEX as well as the Vincents. Certain people I knew almost went to war over arguing which was better for you. Well, much has changed since then, maybe?

The ‘no exceptions’ path forward for tax reform

This may be too simplistic, but why not have a basic system where everyone working pays a 20-cent-in-the-dollar tax above a threshold level? Companies/ corporations pay 30 cents in the dollar tax, once legitimate costs are removed. Charity donations and welfare donations are tax-deductible...

    Snak Pack

Without a snack Pack a Kid would starve. I remember they had unique flavours almost addictive.

‘Actually illegal’: What happened after this couple’s $12,000 holiday was downgraded

There is some good information here about the travel industry and booking offers. Thank you for this article

Sick of election spam texts? Here’s why you can’t block them—and what it reveals about the system

Maybe we could reverse the situation; they are our elected officials, let's spam them with our concerns, no matter how trivial, and we have the right to communicate with them 24/7 to ask them about their election promises on their private phones.

Aussies warned over 'necessary evil' bill shocks during ANZAC Day long weekend

I am against these surcharges. With fees on debit and credit cards, GST and other imposed taxes forced upon us, this is just another hit. I could rant more, but I'll leave it at this. Thanks for understanding.

New road safety trial targets speeding drivers as fatalities rise

This is just another government grab for cash. They aren't interested in any expensive technology under the guise of road or any other safety/ improvement unless it can generate revenue. I don't believe any government should introduce or increase any law, tax or levy unless they REMOVE another...

Justin Trudeau announces resignation as Canada’s Prime Minister after nine years

I have good friends in Canada and they are ashamed as to how he ruined their country. He is such a COWARD he has suspended Parliament and won't stand at the next election to face what he has done. Yet he will be like most politicians get a lifetime indexed pension, benefits and free meal tickets...

Aussie state to roll out new driver's licence in days. What's in it for drivers?

So what happens if you are an interstate driver passing through, just visiting, or want to hire a vehicle? How do you find a list of vehicles and is the new licence category recognised or put on other state licences? Need to know or do I email somewhere in South Australia for these answers...

Overhauled speed limits may save more lives in one state

Absolute rubbish. Education on how to drive and better advice on the hazards of long-distance driving would be better. Better rest stops etc. This reduction in speed limits will ultimately lead to revenue-raising exercises. I am sceptical of this

Footage captures man’s outrageous act of slashing tyres of police van

Mobile camera vans are just revenue-raising. I dislike them, You need visible law enforcement to deter road issues

Customers are fuming over this tiny detail on restaurant menu: ‘Don’t dine at this place’

I don't tip. It only serves the restaurant owners to lower or pay staff the minimum wage and that leads to a begger situation. Nowhere does it mention how the tips are paid to staff. We are not America
