Are you next? Controversial rent advice sparks outrage as rising rents hit hard across cities

You are correct, but people love to blame immigration because they haven't researched what is really one of the biggest problems when it comes to affordable housing. There are allegedly 10.1% (1,043,776 homes) of Australia’s 10,318,997 private dwellings that are unoccupied. Homes are being...

ALDI's delivery revolution arrives: Your budget groceries now come to your door

What a privileged whinger! It is NOT "crap" for those who are housebound and who do NOT have family or friends to shop for them. Instead of being so negative, try being grateful that you are NOT in a position where you need to rely on these services. So "ponder that one", poppet!

ALDI's delivery revolution arrives: Your budget groceries now come to your door

I have used the service a couple of times now and have been really thrilled with it. The "dasher" who did my shopping was excellent, chose well, was in touch with me regarding substitutions, and delivered the items promptly. My mobility issues make it a lot more difficult to access stores...

Competitive eater caught red-handed at pub pantry—but locals were left eating their words

Just goes to show how judgmental we have become and how prepared we are to assume the worst with no evidence to back up our judgments. I can almost guarantee that not all the people who made false slurs against him were prepared to apologise. There are more good people than bad in this world...

The unwelcome surprise lurking in your local supermarket aisles... Are you affected?

They have had many reports lodged, but the writers here seem to thrive on denigrating ALDI, sadly.

The unwelcome surprise lurking in your local supermarket aisles... Are you affected?

Are you trying to say this only happens at ALDI? I am sure Coles, Woolworths and IGA have had isolated incidents of this as well. It is not good and it is not acceptable, but the way you have written this appears to be a thinly veiled go at ALDI.

Opposition leader signals Centrelink cuts! Here’s what they don't want you to know

I agree GoodEnough. It certainly did seem to be a rant from a LNP supporter ... the same party that was looking at putting all Centrelink recipients on the Cashless Welfare Card. We need to stop this division that seems to be growing between left and right supporters, and instead come together...

Fined $237,000 for hiring someone to remove a century-old tree—fair punishment or too harsh?

Yes, it was dumped in parkland ,,, this is from the article:- A Newport council spokesperson explained the felled tree had been fly-tipped on the nature reserve behind the Rands’ property. ‘The ecologist noticed the discrepancy which led to a site visit to inspect the trees and investigation...

Fined $237,000 for hiring someone to remove a century-old tree—fair punishment or too harsh?

It states quite clearly that SIX times she applied for permission to have the tree removed, and each time she was denied that permission, so she paid for it to be removed illegally, and then the chopped-down tree was dumped in parkland. She deserved every penny of that fine... she broke the law...

Fined $237,000 for hiring someone to remove a century-old tree—fair punishment or too harsh?

Good ... she deserved the fine as she knew what she was doing was illegal. Six times she had applied for permission to remove the tree, and six times she had been told it was covered by a preservation order. She knew what she was doing was wrong, and, if the article is correct, she did it purely...

Should Uber drivers have the right to reject passengers because of weight?

No poppet ... YOU are the one who needs help and needs to learn compassion and kindness. That man may have medical conditions but you get up in your ivory tower and judge him ... shame on you! I would rather be kind and considerate to people like him than be bullied by the likes of you and...

Should Uber drivers have the right to reject passengers because of weight?

What on earth has that got to do with he horrid comments you are making about that man? Hmmmm? Just because you help some people does NOT give you free rein to be vile to others.

Should Uber drivers have the right to reject passengers because of weight?

Oh sadly I am listening to the foul garbage and insults people are spewing. Mostly from a place of ignorance too.

Should Uber drivers have the right to reject passengers because of weight?

Well poppet my self-worth is not based on some stranger's vile insults ... you can call me rude if you want. I know it isn't true, and that is ALL that matters. Feel better now?

Should Uber drivers have the right to reject passengers because of weight?

Sadly yours is the typical comeback when someone is called out for their lack of compassion. Act like a rude and horrid person who is lacking in basic humanity, and you must expect to be called out on it.
