Shopper reveals secret to scoring FREE roast chook at Coles—find out how!

Well this will really help the rest of us ‘normal’ shoppers! Coles will need to recoup the loss on these chickens somewhere else in the store. Thanks for that Ms. Savvy Australian shopper. 🙁

Super boom widens wealth gap: ‘I thought this would be a stress-free life’

My biggest gripe in this country is that if you did the right thing and saved for your old age, the Govt. then denies you an Age Pension and any concessions that go along with that. This despite some of the highest tax rates in the World. Can you imagine what administrating all that My Gov...

Kmart shopper’s tricky theft sparks reactions online

A few years ago I popped into my local Myer after work. There were big sales on and the shoe depot looked like it had been ransacked. Boxes and shoes everywhere, I sat down to try on a pair and watched whilst the sales assistant rounded up umpteen pairs of worn shoes which had been left...

Coles shopper allegedly gets scolded by employee for scanning groceries ‘in the wrong order’!

Woolies Saturday 12.15pm - 1 register open, a long queue and 8 busy self-serve options. Luckily I had roughly 15 items so went through the express lane. Mind you, I let a couple if people with only 2 items ahead of me. So fed up with supermarkets. Actually, Aldi probably have it right. 😳

A pharmacy error brings elderly woman at risk: ‘It nearly killed her'

A number of years ago a Pharmacist wrongly gave me blood pressure medication which was double the prescribed amount. I should have realised the colour of the pill was different, but trusted the national brand pharmacy. The pill nearly knocked me off my feet during the day, and luckily I...

How much will you pay for quality lobster and cherries this Christmas?

Have been saving all my Woolworths and Coles $10 from points and use them for Christmas. I also do a number of surveys during the year and save the vouchers from these too. Non-perishables I collect in the weeks before, then it’s only fresh items days before. Therefore no need to skimp on...

This common Australian habit often grosses out tourists

Nothing wrong with the barefoot Aussies. Must say I was a wee bit surprised when we came here to live in 1988, but although it’s not my choice, good on them!

Outrage ensues as Woolworths makes a shocking change to their bag policy

I agree. I can keep 6 small folded nylon bags in a pocket in my handbag. Not heavy to carry, but robust enough for cans and bottles. Washable too. Cost roughly $2 each. 👍
