$6 for this? The Vegemite toast that’s got Aussies fired up

It looks more like burnt toast to me. Nothing beats Vegemite on toast whether light or heavy. To each is own.

Are you getting ripped off at Sydney’s fanciest restaurants? The hidden bill detail everyone’s missing

Here we go again. The Yankie system trying to take over the Aussie way of life. Should be made illegal in Australia.

Manual car shortage drives up roadwork costs across Australia

Mr too. I drove a truck/car from 16 years old without a licence on the farm and got mine at 17 in QLD. I drove both manual and auto vehicles but now I only drive an auto due to my age.

Australians are pushing back on tipping—where do you stand?

How do you know the tip you leave goes to the staff member? That is the question I have.

Are Aussie vehicles slowly blinding you? Motorists rev up debate over this modern feature

I drive a small SUV, and the lights of some new smaller cars are also very bright enough to blind a person. All new vehicles should have their lights checked upon first registration to make sure they are at the correct strength and the indicators are large enough. I saw a light truck with...

Australia Post responds to surge in attacks with urgent new move

I have owned a dog for many years and when I got it, I took it to a local dog training club. It never had the chance to attack a postie because it was always in the back yard not the front yard. I also never kept my dog inside the house unless we were not home. Any dog that attacks a postie...

Report reveals hidden Telstra tax, adds nearly $1000 for premium users

Been with Telstra for years now and have no problems with them. When I was in the Defence Force moving from state to state it was easy to keep the phone and internet active. Paid a bit more but it was worth doing so.

Avoid this Catastrophic Error That Countless Drivers Are Making on a Popular 4WD Beach!

There should be restrictions on where one can drive and park on a beach. Nothing below the high tide line for starters. Some people do not seem to care about or know how to drive on a breach especially country people and tourists.

Australian roads are getting deadlier - pedestrians and males are among those at greater risk

What is the average age of male driving deaths? I would like to know. I prefer an SUV to a little vehicle as I do school drop-off and pickups for 4 grandchildren.

Major Aussie bank cuts 1,500 jobs, pushes cashless future

It is all about the bank's bottom line and their CEO's pay rise. They don't care about their customers one bit.

Energy companies hide key facts as households pay more than needed

Australia should come FIRST not last. Has always been the same for donkey's years and most likely won't change regardless of which government is in charge. Because the Gov no-tows to the big companies.

Safety advocate shares massive road crisis costing billions every year

Reducing the speed limit of vehicles would make no difference. It is up to the DRIVER of the vehicle to make the correct decision whilst driving. Also, more surveillance of our roads would also help. Plus, better road conditions around Australia are a major concern for the Government State and...
