Hello, my name is Nickolaus, I’m 74 years old and was born in Sydney, NSW in August,1950.

Currently, I have acute advanced lung cancer and I’m at the half way point of my chemotherapy and radiation therapy.
This was accidentally discovered in November last year.

Before my health issues, I was a professional landscape photographer and storm chaser, specialising in capture lighting storms.

Nick is a visual artist of the highest caliber and one of the biggest surprises is that all the images displayed have been taken with Fujichrome Velvia film and he hasn't used any colour correction, colour balancing, flash or special effects filters. All the images in the Fotografica II Collection are 100% natural, taken with available light. None of the images displayed on this web site have been digitally altered or manipulated. His images are amazing; his story is incredible and has captured the imagination of people around the globe.

Hopefully when I finish my treatment for lung cancer, I’ll show some of my award winning images.
