I am a 70 years young woman with my three daughters living near to me around the Sunbury region and my son lives in Canberra. I have 6 grandchildren, 4 girls and 2 boys ranging in ages from nearly 14 - 4 years with the last being born on Anzac Day in 2021.
Over the past 20 years, I had worked mostly in the Construction industry, the majority being infrastructure as a Document Controller. In March 2023, I was made redundant from my job and thus the decision was made to retire. What a great decision! I am loving the retired life and find most of my days are busy doing something either in the garden, helping out picking grandchildren up from school or looking after the littlest one whilst Mum gets work done.
I am involved with a sport called DrillDance which most people would remember as Marching Girls. I have also been working off and on with my family tree of both my parents and that has been really interesting.
n 2024 I travelled the western half of Australia going up the centre and down the west coast of WA. I had a couple of friends travelling with me in their motorhomes and it was amazing. I want to do it again going the reverse way.
In 2024 with rental prices increasing and the cost of living very high, I made the decision to live in my caravan and travel. If I could get some house sits along the way, that will be great also. I left my rental end of June 2025 and funnily enough, I got a house-sit next door for 3 months! At least I know all my neighbours and they have been fantastic over the years. I have more lined up with friends so that will be great too.
I love a country lifestyle so moving around this great country is a dream come true.
I have 1 beautiful cat Rosie, who has been with me since she was born in March 2009 and two gorgeous little dogs named Ruby who was born on Christmas Day 2011 and Gracie who was born May 2018.
I was involved with Amateur musical theatre some years ago and try and get to the theatre when I can. I had a great time doing that.
