No toilets, no dignity—here's why an older traveller was forced to wet herself mid-flight

They would have taken the gamble that the few operating at time of departure would be sufficient - weighed against delays of maybe days to try and get service in Bali. Then passengers would have been stranded with no flight or accommodation. It was a no-win situation for them - at least they...

One neighbour’s complaint just cost this Aussie $80 a month—could it happen on your street too?

Really - you think you have the entitlement to block streets, lessen visibiity of traffice and, in general, make streets messy. I have experienced over the years the amount of boats, trailers, caravans and whatevers being parked 'legally' on roads thus preventing growing families and visitors a...

Sad but really - travelling overseas for this type of procedure wouldn'thave been too cheap - even in a former third world country. But to do all of this and have no insurance!! Surely the family shoud have stepped in then.

Reckless stunt injures baby: 'I heard a scream no mother should have to hear'

It may well be insured however they still need to pay the excess (normally around $1,000) plus replacement of all the items (prams etc) in the car - not all (if any) would be covered by insurance. Very costly even if you are insured.
