    I still make Mock chow mein from the Nursing Mother' 'Association of Australia's cookbook. I put extra cabbage and an extra envelope of chicken noodle soup, extra vegs -beans, carrots etc. and make a huge pot. freezes well and is quite filling. Can serve it with plain rice or pasta if desired.

    We live in an area where drivers seem to think that to do a left hand turn one should start from the furthest right hand lane and cut across all lanes assuming that all other drivers will be fully alert and can brake in time.

    I agree. Home grown vegetables and fruit are wonderful, but more expensive than buying from a supermarket.
