It confirms what I said. Independent shops cater to everyone not just the elite. There are more ordinary people than there are monied ones. Can these limited monied ones support a big store like Myer or David Jones? Obviously not. Do they get the message? Doubt it.

I was in Myer Melbourne about 2 weeks ago. What is their problem? They aim for the elite. Hence the whole store caters to them. Even the sale items were overpriced. How do they expect to keep their door open if ordinary people cannot purchase anything? I walked out empty handed. No surprise there.

I have used Uber eats many times and have noticed that even though they say "no delivery fee" a delivery fee has been charged. I have seen the printed receipt from the restaurant show the price they charge in-house and what Ubber has charged me. There is always about $3.00 extra. Delivery fee...
