    Plants to repel flies plant near front door

    has anyone tried wormwood or pennyroyal near the door? I’ve read they work pretty well for repelling flies, but I’ve never planted them myself. Do they grow easily in pots or prefer being in the ground? Would love to hear if anyone’s had success with them.
