ALDI shopper notices $20.60 charge on receipt: ‘I don’t really know what I’ve paid for’

ALDI do charge customer a surcharge for using credit accounts. I have found that instead of tapping your card you insert it and use savings with a pin and that avoids the surcharge. Maybe this is what the change is for.

New budget proposal may put extra $2000 on Aussie households

Promises are easy to make. I will believe them when I actually see them.

Savvy shopper shares unusual tactic she uses to dodge scams in Temu!

I have purchased a few things from Temu and have never had a problem. I always use PayPal when buying anything on line. If I can't buy with PayPal I don't buy it.

Aussies are finding unbelievably cheap dishwashing tablets at Bunnings!

I buy my dishwashing tablets at the Reject Shop. 110 finish tabs for $19.99. Sometimes they are even cheaper. Never buy them from Coles or Woolies.

‘Absolutely disgusting’: Coles and Woolworths' checkout trend causes stir among shoppers

Coles at Marsden in Queensland seem to only have 2 service checkouts open at any time and there is usually a line up for them so people are forced to used the self serve ones. At busy periods there is even a line up for the self serve but still only 2 service check outs open when there are many...

    BEWARE of SCAMMERS

With everyone struggling to make end meet these days this would be very tempting for some. The 38 000AUD is a bit obvious.

The heartbreaking reason why this grocery is finally ditching self-serve checkouts!

I think manned checkouts should be bought back. If theft is such a problem then fix it with customer service not security devices that treat everyone like thieves. If we have to scan and pack our own groceries due to lack of customer service then we should be entitled to a staff discount but...

Can Centrelink payment hikes boost music festival participation?

This has got to be one of the most rediculous ideas I have ever heard. If young people want to go to these events then they should save up for them like everyone else. It's not surprising that Greens senator SH-Y is using this for political reasons. If the government has money to give away like...

Shopper exposes Coles' curious 'discount'—and employees are defending it!

He should have grabbed a pack because he would be entitled to them for free. If the marked price scans higher than the ticketed price than they should be free. Coles also can be fined for selling goods at a higher price than the ticketed price.

Coles shocker: Scales disappear from self-serve registers, leaving shoppers weighing their options!

It must have cost these companies millions of dollars for all this technology. The cost of replacing humans doesn't come cheap. Makes you wonder if it's really worth it.

Beware of ‘shrinkflation’: How to spot subtle rip-offs at the supermarket before it's too late!

Cans of soft drinks. Small cartons used to be 12 in a carton. Now for slightly higher price there are only 10. I'm really sick of being treated like an idiot and being ripped off by these billion dollar companies. I refuse to buy them anymore.

Fans spot revealing detail in Australian-born Danish Queen’s latest photo

I'm sure the Spanish magazine is no different from most media these days. They never let the truth get in the way of a good story.

Is Bunnings now the go-to for cleaning supplies? Here’s why this shopper thinks so!

I buy all my cleaning products from The Reject Shop. Their prices are really low. 110 dishwashing tablets for $19.99. They work just as well as the fancy ones.

Cadbury's Easter bunny price hike is 'absolutely criminal' according to shoppers

Leave the Coles Cadbury bunnies on the shelf. Go to ALDI. There's are much cheaper.

Princess’s absence fuels speculation: ‘Everything that’s been happening is weird’

I think that the public has been told all they need to know. She is entitled to her privacy. The media are frustrated because no one is talking and they want to make some headlines. This is English gutter press at its best. Leave her alone.
