The same happened to me. My neighbour complained to the council & they virtually called me a liar, which really upset me. The complaints were still going in when my dog had been dead for3 months. Didn't get one apology. I even had to prove he was dead by digging up his body!

I agree with the responses. I live next to a hotel in a small country town also on my own & elderly. I find Saturday & Friday nights a nightmare. I've had drunks try & force there way in, but soon leave when they meet my dog(A Maremma x Irish wolf hound)

years ago, when my daughter was small, she was playing on the sound @ a local beach & stepped on some shallow buried left overs from a beach barby & ended up in hospital with third degree burns on her feet

This warning can apply to many of our garden treasures including all of the Euphorbia family, many of the lilies etc. I just wish I could grow the darn things(desert rose)

I too had a similar experience. I use to have a lady come to me for money for food. One day, instead of giving her money, I gave her a box of food. When she left she threw the box onto the road.

I had to have a little chuckle when I read this. Perhaps I should be hired to deal with these lilies - I KILL them. Have never been able to grow them. They just die. I've been told everything belonging to the lily family is poisonous.

a few years ago a friend of mine had an egg(layed by one of her own chooks) that had another egg inside it, shell & all, & the 2nd egg was a double yoker!
