Little-known traffic law surprises many motorists, leading to confusion and debate

I was aware you should not have any dangly bits, but not that the law says 'obstructing your view of the actual road'. Lovely to have discrimination go my way for a change. Us shorties have it on our taller fellow drivers this time :D

Mysterious surveillance camera in bike lane baffles drivers and cyclists

In my opinion, this device is impeding parking and/or ability to use that lane by avehicle in the case of emergency. It also is not registered and therefor should be removed in accordance with Road Rules.

The Secret Parking Rule That Could Cost You Big – Man Fined Right Outside His Home!

Such a shame that the reason why it's a rule was not explained fully. Cars have deliniators 'reflextive red pieces' that are only on the rear of the vehicle so that drivers can see that they are on the correct side of the road when they sun or night lights from your vehicle shine on them. Of...

Shoppers rave about $10 'magic' cleaning tool from Bunnings: 'This does not disappoint'

It would cost me $20 as there is no way I'll use one for both the bathroom and kitchen. One for each place is my way. :)

Driving shift: Millions of state’s motorists gear up for major licence change

I just received a new digital license due to a scam attach at Vic Roads. I'm a senior and unfortunately, I have absolutely no idea in how to use QR codes, how to keep myself self etc etc even though I did use it for the shops I entered during Covid. This is the way the world is going, 'Find out...

Animal transfer should always be done in an enclosed, escape proof area. 'What were they thinking'

Hidden sign stumps motorist for $300!

There should be no reasonable expectation that a road sign is hidden by tree's foliage by a driver, yet he was fined on that basis. To me, this would be the same as a person who is legally insane being found guilty of murder.

Biscuit bug-out: Coles ingredient leaves mum crumbling in disgust!

Never heard of it before and from the name it infers Cockroaches. Now that's absolutely disgusting. I'll be looking from now on. People should have the choice if they want to eat them or not. I would of expected Australia not to approve this product. Bye Bye Tim Tams

Woolworths' new self-checkout rule triggers customer uproar—here's why!

I have multiple pain issues that can be exacerbated by bending up and down. Self check outs make it worse and besides, you can't fit a trolley full of groceries on the other side after scanning, yet your trolley is not empty enough to replace them in. Difficulty all around for me and I expect...

Beware of the 'Jet Frog' on your bank statement—here's why it could cost you big time!

I was scammed last year & immediately contacted my bank. ON THEIR ADVICE, my card was cancelled & I was issued a new card 2 weeks later & they did not honour my selection of how I received the new card 'home by post or pick up from Bank'. The first transaction, all though a scam, I authorised...
