Woolworths worker ‘jokes’ about getting revenge on rude customers

In my experience, some customers are cranky from the time they walk into a store. I’ve watched rudeness and nastiness directed at staff, not in silence I might add, from people who seem to believe they have some special aura that allows then to say and do whatever they like and who expect...

Shopper reveals $8 miracle buy from Woolworths cleaned her oven after FIVE years of trying

I’ve already posted this in another section but it fits better here. Use your bits of left over aluminium foil to clean an oven door. Easily lifts drips, non scratch and throw away. Use with your cleaner of choice, I use an Ajax cream like Gumption. Faster in a warm oven but not necessary.

Common mistakes to avoid when cooking pasta

Always have the water boiling rapidly before you put the pasta in. This stops the pasta sticking together.

Recipe for ‘miracle spray’ that cleans any surface goes viral

I am lucky enough to have a large shower. But a lot of glass makes cleaning a chore. All that bending and wiping at my age was getting a bit much. So, I began using a normal squeeze mop to clean. Just add your cleaner to the foam pad, wipe on, wipe off. Watch where the long handle is and turn...

Woollies $5 ‘miracle’ cleaning product people are raving about: “It’s the best.”

Back to kitchens and cleaning ovens, in this case the glass door. Keep your used pieces of aluminium foil. Scrunch up and use as a cleaning 'cloth' with a little cream cleanser. Really fast, non scratch and throw away after. Faster if you clean just after you've baked something and the door is...

Shopper reveals $8 miracle buy from Woolworths cleaned her oven after FIVE years of trying

Negative comments are a bit harsh. Sometimes things get out of hand for all reasons. Ill health can be one of the reasons. Sometimes life just hands you more important things to deal with. Thanks for the product recommendation

Thank you for your kind words. Bike riding has provided a lot of enjoyment over the years matched by the friendships and company of fellow bike riders. In my experience they are a great group of people. My female companion rider was in her early 50's. She was doing over 200kph in an 80kph zone...

I rode by myself when learning. It is a scary thing to do. You just have to swallow those nerves, hop on and do it. Make sure you do a rider training course. You will learn the right way to ride from the beginning and the Stay Upright course I did built the skills slowly and at my pace. I...

I learnt to ride when I was 40. Rode for about 15 years. I stopped riding during the time my husband was ill and then began again after he passed. What kind of bike depends on the type of riding you want to do. I like to do long road trips through regional and rural Australia. I started on 250...

I currently live in Merimbula, NSW but will be moving north in 2023 if all goes to plan. My go to fun activities are riding my motorbike, which recently is pretty much just around the block but with freedom day I hope I will be riding further. I like to walk my dogs on the beach and I love to knit.
