General Discussion Thread 18.03.2025

A fresh new day is knocking—are you answering? 👀I hope today brings you something to smile and ponder about. Speaking of pondering, I’ve got a question for you: If you could bring back to life anyone who died, who would it be and what would you want to say to them? Maybe it’s a musician whose songs still tug at your heart, an actor whose performances left a mark, or someone whose impact on the world was cut far too short. Let’s have a chat here!

My Mother. This wonderful lady grew up in an orphanage from age 6 because the 1919 pandemic took her parents but Mum was loved by all who knew her including my father who treated her with abuse. Mum was gentle, kind and so loving and I'd tell her that I'm sorry I didn't do things differently back then. I talk to this angel to this day and I feel sometimes that my beautiful carer lady, Danni, is my Mum come back. I have tears as I write. They are so alike. Bless them both..😍💋👄

my 25year old son, first born who was the healthiest baby, toddler and adult, then in 1988, 21 years old, became ill, he had BuddChiara, a blockage behind the liver. fast forward 4 years, many operations, hospital stayes, finally after a blood test early evening all was revealed, he had PNH, it was february 1992, and they found he was the only one in the world who had it.
there was one male in Pittsburgh USA they tried to give him a liver transplant, but he didn’t make it. its still a long story, sorry, but he passed away 11th april, 1992., we get on with our lives but i feel sad, angry, that he’s missed out on seeing his 2 brothers make a wonderful life but without him, 😢😢😢 he’s thought or mentioned every day, 🙏🙏 Jean M

My Mother, there are so many questions that I should have asked when she was alive, like where and how did she meet my father, where is my brother buried who died as a baby before I was born. Why did they call me Norman until I met my wife at age 22 because they christened me Leonard. The list is endless and it is too late when they have passed.

I would have a tall order, my mum, my dad & my little dog. I would tell my parents how fortunate i was to have them as my parents & thank them for their sacrifices. I would also tell them how very proud i was of them. My little dog Millie I would say thank you for saving me in the dark times, she was my earth Angel. I miss them all

Although the two I most loved , my mother's mother and my father's father, would be wonderful to speak with them again, right now it would be so special to have my little dog back, she died just before Christmas and is missed so very much - she was my little buddy who made me laugh even though she struggled towards the end. Being able to cuddle her again would be amazing.

our only daughter who was taken so quick after being diagnosed with Leukemia - 3 and half weeks she was gone. We never got to say goodbye and it still breaks my heart. I look at her beautiful photograph every day and my husband silently talks to her. My first words would say its been a long 17 years since we saw you but now you are here again let us make the our lives the best they can be as long as we are all together again. Miss you so much Lorraine and not a day goes past that we don't think about you. Mum and Dad. You are gone but never forgotten

How can you pick one person, when you have lost so many wonderful people.
My Mum, Dad, Son, Husband, wonderful sister-in-law, beautiful niece, just a month ago.
Unselfishly I would love to see little William Tyrell be given another chance.
