Just about any Aussie who is of advancing years would know that a sparrow's fart is first thing in the morning. I had a bit of a giggle when I saw the note ... haven't heard that saying for years.

Yes, I still say ’mad as a cut snake’ for good reason, most the people I know are as mad as a cut snake
