The Samurai

What a great show, came on at 4.30pm, raced home from school, completed my homework so I could watch the show. The fantastic jumps and stunts those Ninjas' performed were great to watch. The popularity of the show saw Shintaro come to Australia and there were large crowds of kids turned out to see him. The show was in Black and white but, it didn't matter.. there was plenty of sword fighting and a lot of Ninjas died however, there were no 'gory or huge blood scenes', it was all done with 'good taste.' Shintaro's side-kick was an Ega Ninga called Tombi the Mist, who would 'disappear' in a cloud of mist. I wanted to be like Shintaro, he was the master and so 'cool', but I wanted to be like Tombi with all his tricks, plus they were the good guys so being an Ega Ninja I always wanted to an Ega Ninja who wanted to meet a 'Willing Ninja.'
