Will admit it is a beautiful plant, but it can be evasive in the garden. And if you no longer want it you must make sure you get rid of the main tapper root & as much of the smaller roots as well or it just keeps growing back.

Oh okay. Perhaps in perfect conditions it would be. Mine has grown in the same garden bed for 10 years with my day lillies and never taken over or grown any rounder/larger. It's a scruffy looking plant though!

I asked my mother and she said she got it a long time ago from an older relative at Armidale and gave me a piece to grow. We live in Qld, so probably not ideal conditions for it, looking scruffy and not full of abundance with both of ours.
