I just received the most devastating news, the Landlord has increased our rent by$150.00 @week to $600.00 @week. I don't quite know what is going to happen .

Mine went up 30 on start of new lease which took up the 30 pensioner increase. While it hurts your bottom line, be thankful you have been able to afford the 450 you've been paying for ages. if I had that kinda money to spend on rent I'd be set.

When this lease is up I'm out as place is for sale and nor being able to share because of cancer treatment and other issues and never going to be able to afford 300 a week for a 1 room fibro mouldy shanty its back seat of the falcon for Shanny> So youre doing better than me long term
