How old are your eggs?​

Under the expiry date on every egg carton there is a 3 digit number from 001 to 365, 001 being the 1st January and 365 the 31st December (the Julian calendar).
This is the day of the year that the eggs were packaged.
Eggs can be stored refrigerated for 4-6 weeks so you can work out how old the eggs are before you buy them.
