Dressing Table Set​

I have a beautiful set like this, it belonged to my mother, given to her by my stepfather many years ago.
They have beautiful flowers embroidered on them and also have two small matching trinket boxes and manicure set.
I have been offered a significant amount of money for them, they are still in as new condition, but no amount of money would make me part with them.
One day they will go to my granddaughter, who I hope will treasure them as much as me.

I remember them as a child, my mother had a set, and i did love them as well.
They where special and precious, as people valued things more back then, the way
of thinking and then feeling was different as we appreciated what we had, and what
we where given as gifts.
We did not have much - but at the same time - we had everything, because it
was a simple life, family, love and the basic necessities covered for living a good life.
