This one’s for the home cooks out there!

Usually, Aldi’s annual cast iron sale happens in May, just before slow-cook season peeks around the corner. And even though it’s a bit late this year, it is finally here.

For this year’s sale, the usual line up from renowned cookware brand Crofton hits the shelves again and will be on sale starting Wednesday, October 13, until stocks last.

The Crofton range includes various sets of retro-style pots and pans, in different colours, similar to premium brand Le Creuset, but without the hefty price tag.

The lineup is as follows:

The first is the 3.2L Cast Iron French Pan which sells for $26.99 and comes in four different colours - blue, green, red, or cream.

The pan can be used on all types of stovetops. These include gas, electric, gas-ceramic, and induction. It is also safe to use in the oven for temperatures up to 200°C. It features a three-layer enamel coating, a stainless steel knob with a logo, and a lid with self-basting nodules, for a moister food experience.

Next item on the list is the Cast Iron Roaster which sells for $26.99 and also comes in four different colours - blue, green, red, or cream.

While the roaster is more suited in cooking vegetables, meats, and pretty much any roast meal, it comes with three-layer enamel coating, a lid with self-basting nodules, and a stainless steel knob which contains the logo, just like the French pan. It can also be used in the oven for temperatures up to 200°C.

Third item is the 26cm Cast Iron Frypan which sells for $17.99 and comes in the same colours of blue, green, red, or cream.

Its features are almost the same with the rest of ALDI’s Crofton cookware range: three-layer enamel coating, lid with self-basting nodules, and a stainless steel knob with a logo. It’s suitable for all stovetops and oven-safe up to 200°C.

There is also a cast iron griddle pan version for this, and it retails for the same price of $17.99.

Last but not the least is the 3.7L Cast Iron Dutch Oven which sells for $24.99.

This cast iron Dutch oven comes with all the colours and features as the models mentioned before, including being suitable for all stovetops and oven-safe up to 200°C.

ALDI’s cast iron sale also includes 16cm cast iron saucepans and 11.5L enamel stock pots which sell for $19.99 and cast iron trivets for $7.99.
