FSANZ recalls popular Korean BBQ marinades from shelves for dangerous labelling error

OK I will change y comment from 'everyone is allergic' to say everyone should stay away from vegetable oil as one should stay away from roundup but it is everyone's choice to put whatever in & on their body just as it was in 2020 - NOT !

FSANZ recalls popular Korean BBQ marinades from shelves for dangerous labelling error

It all depends if you take everything MSM as truth - although 2 weeks ago on Sunrise there was a talk about cooking all what was good for you and what wasn't. The 1st group of GOOD Oils was Olive Oil & the last group to stay away from was VEGETABLE OILs. Some people are NOT aware of what...

Over 400 critical medications now in short supply in Australia

My husband also had a stent and was told the same thing and I said to the Dr "I hope not" unfortunately it took a LOT longer than you for my hubby to believe me and others and only that he had Liver overload did he decide to go off all meds. Great that you went off after only 3 weeks.

Over 400 critical medications now in short supply in Australia

I would try a good naturopath as no one on here should be giving you that info unless they are a Doctor and very few Drs will tell you about a natural remedy.

Over 400 critical medications now in short supply in Australia

I certainly agree with you. I am in my 77th year and do NOT use any meds but do use preventative. My husband who is 78 and had 2 heart attacks 9 years ago went OFF all his meds last year and has felt so much better. Not surprised that more medications are needed with ALL the V***** injuries but...

Aussies share food items they miss due to 'repulsively absurd' prices

I won't give up my Olive Oil - no way. Vegetable oils are a health hazard - I know people say I have been using Margarine & vegetable oils for 50 + years and I am still Ok. But are they really. Have you ever looked at how & what Canola Oil is made? The thing is when & if you dine out and have...

Aussies share food items they miss due to 'repulsively absurd' prices

Don't have the following unless they are on special: mushrooms, berries, bananas, salmon, lamb chops. Don't eat Maccas, KFC etc anyway. Don't go out for lunch often either. Cancelled our Private Hospital cover early last year. Haven't had a holiday since March 2022 for our 50th Wedding...

Albanese government's energy initiative promises relief for Aussie households amid rising costs

I would have thought 18 panels would have given you a credit seeing you are the only person in the house. As I said we had a credit even when we had 2 teenagers full time in the house. But having Solar Hot Water does make a difference to the electricity bill.

Albanese government's energy initiative promises relief for Aussie households amid rising costs

We first got Solar Hot Water in the 80's. When it came to its use by date (it did pay for itself though) we switched back to electric HW system for a few years until we needed a new heater due to the water in our rural town at the time. We then went back to Solar Hot Water (which is a BIG saving...

Investigation reveals another energy retailer received welfare payments from vulnerable Australians

Surely these companies would not still be receiving this money IF Centrelink were not forwarding onto them. I am not sticking up for them but just stating a fact. 1. Did the customer tell Centrelink that they had...

Pro-cash movement calls for nationwide boycott of Coles and Woolworths

Same here I don't use self serve checkouts and if there is a long queue at a checkout I look for a staff member and ask for another one to be opened. I never have any problems using CASH at my local Coles in a rural area (might be different in the cities). I use CASH most of the time.

'Card only!': Nandos' new policy puts restaurant in hot grill

I also have had this particular problem young staff can't work out the change needed to give to the customer, and I have had to tell them how much needs to be returned or one instance she gave me to much change, so I returned the excess.
